You don't need all 30. Pick three or four days a week. Start with the dates your followers will notice, then fill the gaps with the everyday ideas in between. Each idea works in most niches and shows a twist for a few of them. The energy tag is the effort: low is about 10 minutes, medium about 30, high an hour or more. New to posting? Week 1 (Nov 1-7): the clocks go back and Bonfire Night
Movember starts on Nov 1 and runs all month, and most of the US sets the clocks back an hour that morning. Bonfire Night on Thursday is a UK date, but the idea works as a cozy-evening post anywhere.

Filming when it's dark before dinner
Once the clocks go back, the light you used to film in after work or class is gone for most people in the US, and the UK lost it a week earlier. Plan around it:
- Film in daylight, post whenever. Shoot at lunch or on a weekend morning, then post in the evening like you always do.
- Face the window. Sit facing it with the phone between you and the glass. It's the best free light you have.
- Bounce a desk lamp. After dark, point the lamp at a white wall or a sheet of printer paper next to you, not straight at your face.
- Pick formats that don't need daylight. Screen recordings, text carousels and lamp-lit timelapses look fine at 9 p.m.
- Get ahead of Thanksgiving week. Film the Nov 26 and Nov 27 posts on Sunday, Nov 22.
If a whole week falls apart, keep only the dated posts and fill the rest from our easy content ideas.
Questions people ask
What should I post in November?
Post around the dates your followers notice, like Diwali on Nov 8 or Thanksgiving week, and fill the other days with simple posts from your niche. You don't need all 30 ideas above. Three or four posts a week is plenty, and the list puts the shortest ones on the busiest days. For a pace you can keep past November, see how to post consistently.
When are Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2026?
Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov 26, 2026, the fourth Thursday of November. Black Friday is Nov 27, Small Business Saturday is Nov 28 and Cyber Monday is Nov 30.
What can I post on Black Friday if I don't sell anything?
Post something useful instead of a sale. Show what you're not buying and what you use instead, or list the basics you'd recommend in your niche, no links needed. The next day, Small Business Saturday, is a good time to shout out small shops you love.
How do you plan a month of content?
Start with the dates, then your energy. Mark the four to six dates that matter to your followers. Put the longer posts on the days you have the most time, often the weekend, and fill the rest with 10-minute ideas. Then film in batches: one good session can cover a week, and our batching guide walks through it. It's a question that keeps coming up on Reddit (example from r/socialmedia).
When does daylight saving time end in 2026?
In most of the US, clocks go back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov 1, 2026. The UK and the EU changed a week earlier, on Oct 25. If you schedule posts, check they still go out at the time you meant.
